As SmashFly grows, we are seeing a need to integrate with several new Applicant Tracking systems and other third party systems.  Related to this, we also find ourselves working with a number of customers and prospects who want to spend some significant time exploring the technical requirements and implementation needs for their team prior to engaging with us.

We are looking for someone who can represent our Technical Services team in pre-sale engagements with customers, prospects, and other software vendors to ensure that all parties are clear on what needs to happen and have a clear path to success post-sale. Additionally, this role will be responsible for coordination with our internal teams to build any new integration solutions and oversee their delivery.

What you’ll be contributing to

  • Building deep expertise in existing methods of integration within the SmashFly technology platform as well as other technical services we provide.
  • Interfacing with SmashFly’s Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams as a representative of the Technical Services team to identify needs around market growth in terms of third party integrations.
  • Performing technical assessments and due diligence with other Software companies to determine the feasibility of exchanging date between systems. This includes:  Discussions with ATS providers and the customer who use them to establish methods of data transfer, Testing connections and APIs and Developing requirements documentation
  • Developing detailed technical specifications to engineering deliverables specific to new integration offerings.
  • Managing the work of development and QA resources to build new integration solutions
  • Interfacing with third party vendors throughout the process of exchanging data and testing the solution.
  •  Working with the customer to test and deploy new integration solutions as they become available.
  • Meeting with prospects and new customers very regularly to review our overall Technical Services landscape and educate them on the work that is involved in setting up these integrations and other technical solutions included in the SmashFly platform.
  • Defining new processes / participating in process improvement initiatives as a representative of the Technical Services function within the greater Customer Success team.
  • Additional post-sale program / project management responsibilities in support of SmashFly’s delivery of Technical Services to customers
  • Hands on consulting and configuration of integration solutions within the Technical Services portfolio of projects
  • Interfacing with SmashFly’s Sales and Customer Success teams to help educate them on Technical offerings

 The skills you should have

  • Experience in Product Management or equivalent experience documenting requirements and managing technical build projects
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience working with APIs and other integration methods
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis
  • Experience with Web Services/SOAP, XML, JSON, SOAP, or other formats of data exchange
  • High attention to detail in a technical environment
  • Expertise in at least one of the following software verticals: ATS, Marketing Automation Software, CRM, Recruitment Marketing software, business automation software, middleware
  • Advanced communication skills such as presentation, documentation, and coordination with individuals of varying technical skill levels
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities at once

  • Expertise in project management, consulting and software configuration
  • Experience in delivery to customers in a SaaS software environment
  • Pre-sale Solutions Consulting background
  • Experience onboarding delivery partners with technical integration solutions
