SmashFly has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant to help create, iterate and execute on the company’s value proposition for Total Recruitment Marketing. The ideal candidate will be evangelistic in their ability to develop and deliver “standing ovation" solution demonstrations using SmashFly’s Recruitment Marketing Platform tools, which align with organizations key business drivers. This outstanding candidate will be looked to as a key knowledge expert within the sales family and will be the go to resource for large multifaceted sales cycles, and will have the proven ability to engage industry influencers and buyers. If you are energetic, creative, and performance-driven, we look forward to hearing from you.

What you’ll be contributing to

  •  Responsible for meeting quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Direct Sales Organization for new customers.
  • Understand and analyze prospective client’s needs and develop creative presentations to differentiate the unique SmashFly value proposition across HR, Recruitment and IT influencers.
  • Working closely with sales account managers, sales consultants and consulting personnel in a complex, enterprise sales environment.
  • Interface and coordinate efforts with team members from our operations team to prepare responses to RFI/RFP’s and prospect inquiries.
  • Participate in seminars, trade shows, and other marketing activities in order to promote awareness of the SmashFly brand and our solutions.
  • Travel within the U.S. is required up to 35% based on opportunities

The skills you should have

  • Minimum of 5 years software solutions pre-sales experience, successfully supporting sales of enterprise software/technology solutions at the executive level.
  • New market sales experience – success evangelizing a new product in a new market.
  • Experience selling or implementing recruitment solutions providing recruitment domain experience with the business issues of recruiters and sourcers is a very strong advantage.
  • Develop and leverage knowledge of industry trends in recruitment and specific customer current/future technology landscape in order to position the SmashFly platform, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Build prospect relations through sales product presentations/ demonstrations and follow-up calls.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and analytical skills and be comfortable representing software and speaking to operational and technical executives alike.
  • Energetic, hard-working, persuasive, self-motivated, and productive.
  • Have the ability to multitask and have strong time management skills.
  • Actively keep abreast of functional and technical issues relative to the solution and industry and provide feedback to R&D and product management.
  • Must be a self-starter who assumes responsibility, recognizes problems, provides well thought-out solutions and takes initiatives to fix them.
  • Will influence sales execution and product direction.
  • Must work effectively across all major domains and verticals.
  • Thought leader/innovator from a product demo offering, and sales execution standpoint
