What We’re Looking for

We’re looking for an experienced, highly technical QA Engineer, with experience in Automation.  You will troubleshoot complex database, server, and application issues on a daily basis.  You have experience working in a fast paced, cutting edge, high technology environment.

  • 3 or more years hands-on experience designing and creating test scripts, performance scripts, batch file processing, and/or shell/powershell scripts
  • Experience testing API(s), including performance analysis
  • Break down complex projects into small, manageable chunks that can be delivered on time
  • Diagnose bugs and formulate solutions
  • Monitor app/database/server/machine performance and troubleshoot errors
  • Manage test plans and test methodology
  • Participate in continuous improvement of process and procedures

The skills you should have 

  • BS in CS or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • White Box Testing
  • Create / refactor automation scripts using any combination of shell scripting, Powershell, C#, Java, Javascript, Python.
  • Proficiency with Performance Analysis/Monitoring
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and deploying code to Web Servers – IIS, Apache, Tomcat
  • Experience managing and provisioning Servers
  • Troubleshooting complex issues using logs, packet analyzers, database, Event Viewer
  • Experience creating/executing with SQL statements, Stored Procedures, Databases
  • Experience writing and implementing Test Plans, Test Suites, and Test Cases
  • Experience with development ide such as Visual Studio/Atom/Eclipse
