SmashFly is seeking an experienced Sales Operations & Enablement leader to join our Sales team as Director, Sales Operations & Enablement. This role supports the Sales team and cross-team collaboration by managing the systems, processes and reporting necessary to keep our business healthy.   If you are passionate, highly driven and ready to advance your Sales Operations career to the next level, this might be the role for you!

What you’ll be contributing to

  • Hire, coach, develop and manage Sales Operations & Enablement team members including current staff of two specialists and an intern.
  • Manage and oversee development within the Salesforce CRM, as well as ensure data integrity
  • Manage & train on sales systems including CRM, pricing, lead generation tools, content tools and others
  • Analyze potential new investments in technology
  • Create process efficiencies in sales to enable us to continue to scale and grow
  • Work with sales leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives
  • Design onboarding and development programs
  • Provide support for sales processes, systems and other support needed for lead generation, regional sales and solution consulting
  • Oversee and provide sales support efforts including customization of proposals, contracts & tailored sales materials, ensuring internal SLAs are met
  • Ensure a focus on internal customer needs & proper prioritization of requests
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and smooth transition in our processes and workflows
  • Own delivery of key metrics and data, as well as analysis thereof, to Sales & Executive Leadership
  • Oversee and sales compensation and commission plans
  • Oversee sales forecasting process and definition
  • Oversee and plan sales specific events and programs
  • Guide and provide editorial edits to sales content, while also ensuring proper delivery, messaging and use case to sales team
  • Develop & manage demo scripts/flows/dialogues and training/delivery to the team
  • Develop & manage sales messaging and training/delivery to the team
  • Provide recommendations for territory configuration, market segmentation and quotas
  • Resolve conflicts/issues between sales sub-teams and across departments that interact with sales
  • Manage pricing calculator and product packaging
  • Manage Enablement calendar/agenda for ongoing learning with the team
  • Provide guidance to operations teams in other departments around tools, process and pricing
  • Help build and maintain Sales budget

The skills you should have

  • Minimum 10 years Sales Operations & Enablement experience, preferably in technology, with at least 5 years of leadership/management experience and growing a Sales Operations team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Advanced Knowledge of Salesforce CRM – Admin certified a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Flexibility and desire to seek out improved approaches and processes
  • Accountability as well as prioritization skills
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to share information and foster teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Lead by Example mentality
